The location is incredible, greatly enjoyed to be walk from some leisure places, we've visited restaurants and bars. They serve savoury breakfasts for all tastes with blueberries and fourteen toppings for cereal including strawberries, for example.

Excellent breakfast and warm hospitality
The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of fresh fruits and a cooked breakfast that was cooked to perfection. Deb and Keith were cute. The room was super clean and thoughtfully equipped with good extras. If there's anything I could wish for, it would be a bit more variety in the tea selection.

Amazing hosts with great touches!
The room was super comfy with fresh fruit and nibbles daily. Breakfast was great, loved the variety of cereals and the full English. Deb and Keith were super helpful, especially when I had a question about hiking trails. Just wish there were a few more hooks in the bathroom for clothes.

The breakfast spread was out of this world-fresh fruits and a traditional English feast that could keep even a marathoner satisfied! Plus, the hosts, Deb and Keith, were brimming with local tips and warmth. A nearby gem is The Silk Road, just a stone's throw away, offering a good dining experience.
Honestly, nothing could have been better, but I'd have loved a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang my outdoor gear-just a tiny tweak in a fab stay!

We stayed for two nights, and the little ones adored the hot chocolate with marshmallows. The breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit, and the Cumbrian sausages were a big hit! The hosts were warm and cute.
For dads, it would be great to have more outdoor play equipment.

Immaculate accommodations. The hosts exhibited genuine warmth and provided a wealth of local knowledge that enhanced our stay. Breakfast was a standout highlight, with really good fresh local fish alongside an excellent spread of fruits and cereals. A noticeable lack of outdoor play facilities for children was a drawback, and it would have been perfect to have more varied welcome amenities in the room for special occasions.
